The Month of Tishrei We are currently in the middle of the Ten Days of Repentance, see Chapter 130. This coming Shabbat is Yom Kippur, see Chapters 131-133, followed by Succot. See Ch. 134 Laws of Succot, Ch. 135 Dwelling in the Succah, Ch. 136 Laws of the lulav and the other species and Ch. 137 Laws of taking (the four species) and the Hakafot. Then we arrive at Ch. 138 Laws of Hashana Rabba, Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. The Kitzur Shulchan Aruch is a concise version of the laws that govern the day to day life of a religious jew.

My translation into English is a Linear one, that is I try to keep to the Hebrew text order and phrasing, because my objective is to help people who want to learn in Hebrew, even though this sometimes makes the English less flowing.
